Key Responsibilities:

Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges

Develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans based on student needs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and community resources to promote student success

Conduct assessments and participate in the development of IEPs and 504 plans
-
Assist with crisis intervention and response, and promote a positive school climate

Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution

Current Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with an endorsement in School Social Work

Prior experience working with children or adolescents in school or mental health settings preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
