Blazer Jobs is partnering with a second local district in Alexandria, VA, to hire a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position for the 20242025 school year. Role Overview:
This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple campuses or specialize in a targeted age group (elementary or secondary), depending on district needs and your experience. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting students' academic, behavioral, and emotional growth.
Core Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and support Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs)

Contribute to child study and eligibility teams

Deliver direct social-emotional interventions and counseling

Advise faculty on strategies for learning, behavior, and crisis response

Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
Required Qualifications:

Masters or Ed.S. degree in School Psychology

Active Virginia Board of Education School Psychologist license

Completion of Virginia state-mandated fingerprinting and background checks

Experience in urban or high-need school settings preferred
