Contract School Psychologist (x10) - Corpus Christi ISD, TX

Corpus Christi Independent School District is actively seeking ten dedicated School Psychologists to join their team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. We will not entertain VOCO (Virtual Only, Come Occasionally) or part-time employment.
Caseload/Job Details (Ages will vary based on assignment):
As a School Psychologist with Corpus Christi ISD, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students for a range of educational needs (e.g., learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder).
- Interpreting assessment results and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing direct and indirect counseling and intervention services to students.
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and academic interventions.
- Participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and other school-based team meetings.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
- Supporting crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed.
- Working with diverse age groups across various school settings.
Special Requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of school-specific experience.
- Active Texas Psychology Licensure is required.
- Must hold a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or an Associate School Psychology Credential issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
Compensation:
The average hourly rate for a contract licensed school-based professional in this area is $40-$55 based on experience.
