Qualifications Applicants Must Meet the Following:

Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Completion of an approved internship in School Psychology.
-
Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RtI), and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA).

Must meet all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and local district requirements, including background checks and fingerprinting.

Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Participate in eligibility determinations and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being.

Provide individual and group counseling as needed.
-
Offer consultation to teachers and staff regarding student interventions and accommodations.

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of behavioral and academic interventions.

Maintain detailed and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines.
