Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based contract role in Reserve, LA for the 20252026 academic year. This position features a K12 caseload and may require travel between two school sites. Both CCC-SLP and Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology

Active Louisiana SLP license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility

Must meet all local and state regulations for school-based SLP practice

Experience with special education students and families is strongly preferred
-
Reliable transportation for inter-school travel if needed
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
-
Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
-
Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families
-
Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team planning sessions
-
Support students in achieving communication goals that enhance their academic and social success
