A forward-thinking public school district in the San Francisco area is seeking a licensed and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students across a variety of school sites for the 20252026 academic year. This on-site, full-time role offers 35 hours per week of consistent engagement, where youll make a meaningful difference in the educational journeys of students who require physical therapy as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct PT services to students with a wide range of motor and physical challenges

Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and support IEP goals

Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to ensure cohesive service delivery

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings

Travel between school sites as needed
Required Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Active California State Physical Therapist License (required)

Prior experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is preferred

Educator credential is not required

Strong interpersonal, time management, and documentation skills

Comfort working across diverse student needs and environments
