This position will involve working across multiple school sites, providing valuable communication support services to students with varying needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in a speech-language pathology assistant program or a related field

Active California SLPA license

Must meet all state and local regulations for SLPA practice in school settings

Previous experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred

Reliable transportation and willingness to commute between schools
Typical Responsibilities:

Implement speech and language programs as outlined by a supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Provide direct services to students individually or in small groups

Support IEP goals and therapy plans developed by the SLP

Document student progress and maintain detailed service records

Assist with assessments and data collection as directed

Communicate and collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and families

Adapt strategies and materials to meet diverse student needs
