Position Overview:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will work closely with students, parents, and school teams to create individualized therapy plans that promote academic success and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments of students with speech and language needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment findings

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective communication strategies across environments

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in speech-language pathology and special education
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Valid Pennsylvania state SLP license
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
-
Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification in Speech and Language Impaired
-
Ability to pass state and federal background checks
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
