Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a licensed and experienced Physical Therapist to join the team in Danbury, CT, for a full-time, school-based position at the elementary school level during the 20252026 academic year.
Position Overview:

Work full-time on-site at an elementary school providing physical therapy services to students in PreK5th grade.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students physical therapy needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP development.

Provide direct and consultative services in classroom and therapy settings.

Collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to promote functional mobility and participation.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctorate or Masters level).

Current Physical Therapist License in the state of Connecticut, issued by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

State Department of Education endorsement or authorization may be required for school-based settings (varies by district; support will be provided as needed).

Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP documentation, and developmentally appropriate therapy practices for young children.
