Job Requirements
Applicants must meet Illinois state requirements to serve as a School Social Worker in a public school setting. This includes:

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
Must be available for full-time, onsite work only
Must meet district-specific background check and onboarding requirements
Strong communication, case management, and collaborative skills required
Experience working with general education and special education student populations is preferred
Must be reliable and accountable

Job Duties

Selected candidates will:

Serve students at two school locations: Pioneer Elementary (0.6 FTE) and McGee Elementary (0.4 FTE)
Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students in general education, Multi-Needs, and Structured Teaching and Learning (STLR) programs
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing student goals and interventions
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM.
