Job Requirements
Applicants must meet the state-specific requirements to serve as a School Social Worker in a public school setting. This includes:

Valid state licensure or certification for School Social Work

Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work endorsement (if applicable in your state)

Prior experience working with IEP teams and students with special education needs is preferred

Must be available for full-time, onsite work from August 13, 2025, to May 22, 2026

Must be reliable, accountable, and collaborative
Job Duties
This is a full-time, school-based position with the following schedule and responsibilities:

Daily Schedule: 7:50 AM 3:05 PM

Caseload: 3rd to 5th grade students, approximately 4045 students
-
The position works in tandem with a full-time school counselor already in the building

The majority of the caseload consists of students on IEPs, in settings ranging from general education resource to self-contained programs

Responsibilities include delivering direct social-emotional services, supporting behavior intervention plans, participating in IEP meetings, documenting services, and collaborating with school staff and families
