What Youll Do
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Houston, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders. Your role will involve working closely with students, families, and school teams to develop and implement effective IEPs, deliver individualized therapy, and help students thrive academically and socially.
Required Qualifications (Texas)
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Texas SLP license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required. All candidates must meet state and school district compliance requirements, including background checks.
