As a Bilingual SLP, youll help Spanish- and English-speaking students access the support they need to thrive in the classroom. From evaluating communication challenges to implementing bilingual therapy services, your work will help bridge language gaps and foster inclusive education.
Florida requires licensed SLPs to work in schools. Candidates must hold an active state license and demonstrate fluency in Spanish and English. A CCC-SLP from ASHA is preferred. All applicants must be eligible to work in Florida schools and pass a background screening.
