Role Overview
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You'll play an essential role in helping students overcome communication barriers, collaborating closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress in alignment with state and district guidelines.
Required Qualifications (Texas)
Candidates must have a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred. Applicants must also successfully pass background checks as required by the school district.
