Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all state and local licensure and certification requirements, including:

Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Delaware Board of Speech/Language Pathologists, Audiologists, and Hearing Aid Dispensers

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
-
Valid Delaware Department of Education Certification (or eligibility to obtain)

Recent experience in a school setting is highly preferred

Must pass background check and fingerprinting as required by the school district
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
-
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student education plans
