As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will help students develop essential communication skills that open doors to academic and social success. Youll assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, create personalized therapy plans, and work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to build a welcoming and effective learning environment. Your expertise empowers students to express themselves confidently and reach their full potential.
State requirements: Florida requires an active Speech-Language Pathology license from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Certification from the Florida Department of Education may also be required for work in public schools.
