About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, youll work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Youll also collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to help students thrive in both academic and social settings.
Your caseload may include PreK through high school students across multiple campuses, giving you the chance to build relationships with diverse communities and make a wide-reaching impact.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services, adjusting strategies to fit individual student goals

Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support classroom-based interventions

Document progress, maintain compliance records, and contribute to eligibility meetings

Promote a culture of communication access and inclusion in schools
