What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based School Psychologist in Corpus Christi, youll serve a critical role in promoting students emotional, behavioral, and academic success. Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff, youll assess students needs, develop data-driven interventions, and ensure compliance with educational standards. Responsibilities may include:

Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments

Supporting IEP development and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings

Providing short-term counseling and crisis intervention services

Collaborating with educators on behavior management strategies and learning plans

Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet Texas state licensure requirements for school psychologists. This typically includes a Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology and valid LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) certification. Experience in school-based settings and a strong foundation in psychological assessment and intervention is preferred.
