What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based School Psychologist in Cypress, youll be a key advocate for student well-being and educational access. Youll collaborate with school teams and families to identify students' needs and guide interventions that foster both academic and personal growth. Your responsibilities may include:

Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and cognitive/behavioral assessments

Participating in ARD/IEP meetings and contributing to eligibility determinations

Designing and monitoring behavior intervention plans

Providing short-term counseling or social-emotional support services

Promoting mental wellness and equity throughout the school community
Your work will help ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a valid LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) credential in the state of Texas. A Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology is required, along with strong skills in assessment, collaboration, and student-centered problem-solving.
