Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Willimantic, CT area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for School Psychologists in Connecticut, including:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution

Valid Connecticut Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist (endorsement code 070)

Completion of an approved program of preparation in school psychology
-
Experience in educational or clinical settings working with children and adolescents
-
Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and procedures
-
Ability to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret results
-
Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students to determine eligibility for special education services
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide consultation services to teachers and school staff regarding behavior intervention strategies and classroom management
-
Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and other school-wide initiatives
-
Deliver individual and group counseling services to students
-
Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate records
-
Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
