Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs
-
Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements:
All applicants must meet Georgia state and local certification requirements for school-based Speech Language Pathologists, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Georgia SLP License issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Valid Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply

Ability to pass a background check and fulfill district onboarding requirements
