This position provides a valuable opportunity to help students improve their communication skills in a supportive school environment. Contract renewals for the next school year are based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations for students with a variety of communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and planning sessions
Qualifications & Requirements:
All applicants must meet Nebraska state and local certification requirements for school-based Speech Language Pathologists, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Nebraska Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)

Valid Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) teaching certificate with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered

Ability to pass background checks and meet district onboarding requirements
