Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning
-
Interpret assessment results and contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct and consultative services including counseling, behavior management, and crisis intervention
-
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success through data-driven interventions
-
Participate in the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
-
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
-
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet Illinois state and district certification requirements for School Psychologists, including:

Specialist-level degree (Ed.S., Ph.D., or Psy.D.) in School Psychology from an accredited program

Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)

Knowledge of special education law and best practices in psychological services in schools

Experience with psychoeducational testing, behavioral interventions, and student support planning

Ability to pass all required background checks and district onboarding procedures
