Your Impact as a School Psychologist
As a school psychologist, youll play a key role in fostering academic success, emotional resilience, and positive behavior among students. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, developing data-informed intervention strategies, contributing to IEP teams, and supporting mental health needs through individual and group counseling. To qualify for this position in Virginia, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

Active Virginia Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in School Psychology

Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral intervention, and crisis response

Strong knowledge of Virginia special education law and IEP procedures

Must pass all district-level background and fingerprinting requirements
