As a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess and treat speech and language disorders in students who speak both English and Spanish. Youll create personalized therapy plans, collaborate with educators and families, and help build inclusive environments where every student can succeed.
State requirements: Louisiana requires an active Speech-Language Pathology license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Certification from the Louisiana Department of Education may also be necessary for public school positions.
