Position Overview
We seek a qualified School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite opportunity serving students at two elementary school campuses 40 Miles West of Chicago. This role will provide vital behavioral and emotional support to a diverse student population and work closely with school teams and families to foster student well-being.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver individual and group counseling services to students

Support students in general education, Multi-Needs, and STLR programs

Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, assisting with goal-setting and intervention planning

Collaborate with educators, school leaders, and families to promote student success

Maintain accurate and timely records in alignment with state and district standards
Required Qualifications

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement

Must be eligible to work in Illinois public schools and meet district onboarding requirements

Demonstrated skills in communication, collaboration, and case management

Experience with both general and special education students is preferred
