This is a contract opportunity for the upcoming school year, with services beginning as soon as possible. The district has an immediate need for compensatory services and seeks a dedicated professional ready to support student success.

Responsibilities May Include:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
-
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for speech/language eligibility

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
-
Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting
-
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals
-
Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
-
Provide compensatory services as needed
-
Comply with all federal, state, and district guidelines
Requirements:

Must hold an active Washington SLP license
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
School-based experience preferred
-
Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements

Strong communication and collaboration skills
-
Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred
