Your Impact as a School-Based OT
As a school OT, you will help students build the skills necessary for success across academic, social, and functional domains. Youll assess student needs, create customized therapy plans, work collaboratively with IEP teams, and provide direct and consultative services that support fine motor skills, sensory integration, and independence in daily routines. Your interventions will not only promote access but also empower students to engage fully in their education and community.
Required Qualifications Maryland
To qualify for this opportunity in Maryland, you must meet the following requirements:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license issued by the Maryland Board of OT Practice

NBCOT Certification

Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
