Your Impact as an SLPA
As an SLPA in a school-based setting, youll deliver speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. Youll work directly with students, follow therapy plans, track progress, and support IEP goals. Your hands-on involvement helps students improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communicationboosting academic performance and personal growth in a meaningful way.

To be eligible for this role in Texas, candidates must have:

Associates or Bachelors degree from a CAA-accredited SLPA program or equivalent coursework

Active Texas SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations (preferred)

Must meet district-specific background check and fingerprinting requirements

Supervision agreement with a licensed SLP (may be facilitated upon hire)
