Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with a supportive school district in the Willis, Texas area. Position Overview:

Location: Willis, TX

Schedule: Full-time, onsite

Contract: 2025-2026 School-year position with potential renewal based on performance
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students with a variety of communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
-
Provide direct speech therapy services in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
-
Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding speech and language development
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university

Valid Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation TDLR)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (CFs may be considered based on district policy)

Must meet all state and district background check requirements

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
