Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with a supportive school district in the West Springfield, Massachusetts area. This is an exciting opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP, providing essential support to students in developing their communication skills in a collaborative educational setting.
Position Overview:

Location: West Springfield, MA

Schedule: Full-time, onsite

Contract: 2025-2026 School-year position with potential renewal based on performance
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as directed by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Support students individually or in small groups under supervision
-
Prepare therapy materials and assist with documentation and progress tracking
-
Collect data and maintain accurate records of student performance
-
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support plans
-
Maintain compliance with all school and district policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Associates or Bachelors degree from an approved Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program

Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology)

Must work under the supervision of a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist

Experience in a school-based setting is preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Must meet all state and district background check and compliance requirements
