Your Impact as an SLP
As an SLP in a school-based setting, youll assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Youll collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to ensure every student has a tailored support plan. From developing therapy sessions to helping students improve articulation and language comprehension, your work directly shapes academic and personal outcomes.

To qualify for this role in Texas, candidates must have:

A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Active Texas SLP license through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

School-based or pediatric experience preferred

Must meet district-specific background and fingerprinting requirements
