Job Description:
The Speech-Language Pathologist will deliver services to K12 students in a school setting, focusing on the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication challenges. Responsibilities include developing IEP goals, documenting student progress, collaborating with classroom teachers and parents, and ensuring services comply with educational and clinical standards. The SLP plays a vital role in supporting students academic performance and social development by fostering clear and effective communication skills.
Florida Requirements:
All applicants must have a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Florida state license issued by the Department of Health. School-based experience is preferred. Candidates must also meet the school districts background screening and fingerprinting requirements.
