Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time contract opportunity with a school district in Cambridge, Maryland. This is a school-based role with a K12 caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with varying communication needs.

Contract Dates: For the upcoming school year, with potential for renewal based on performance
Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech, language, and communication needs
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
-
Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEP requirements
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to support student progress
-
Document therapy sessions, maintain records, and track student outcomes
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
-
Provide support and resources to families to encourage carryover of skills at home
-
Stay informed about best practices and compliance requirements within school settings
Requirements:
-
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active Maryland SLP license (or ability to obtain)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
School-based experience strongly preferred
-
Experience working with students with special needs and IEPs is highly valued

Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based SLPs
