Blazer Jobs is now interviewing experienced and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time, school-based contract role near Houston, Texas. This position is for the upcoming school year and will support one elementary campus, with a primary focus on conducting speech evaluations and participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings.

Responsibilities:

Perform speech and language assessments and re-evaluations in accordance with district and state timelines
-
Provide input and documentation for ARD meetings and assist in developing and updating IEPs
-
Deliver speech therapy services to students with communication and language disorders
-
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure student success
-
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for school-based speech services
-
Contribute to a supportive learning environment for all students
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active SLP license in the state of Texas (or the ability to obtain)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Experience in school settings highly preferred

Familiarity with ARD processes and Texas special education regulations strongly valued

Must meet all state and district requirements for school-based SLP services
