Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive educational team in Conroe, Texas. This full-time, onsite role involves working with K-12 students to support their communication goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement speech-language therapy sessions as directed by the supervising SLP

Assist in screening and informal assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills

Prepare therapy materials and assist in documentation of student progress

Work with individual students or small groups in accordance with IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success in academic and social settings
-
Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing progress reports

Adhere to all district, state, and federal regulations regarding special education services
Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Valid Texas SLPA license

Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
