Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates may be considered
-
Valid Texas Educator Certification for school-based SLPs through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) (or eligibility to obtain)

Completion of background checks and fingerprinting as required by school districts

Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals

Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student development

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team process

Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws and district policies
