Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Texas state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Valid Texas State Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License or eligibility for licensure

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Eligibility or possession of Texas Education Agency (TEA) Speech Language Pathologist certification for school employment
-
Successful completion of background checks and fingerprinting as required by TEA

Experience working with school-aged children preferred
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in groups
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Document and monitor student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
