Requirements:

Applicants must meet all California state and local requirements, including:

Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board (SLPAB)
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
Valid California Preliminary or Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
Completion of required background checks and fingerprinting per California Department of Education (CDE) standards
Experience providing services in school settings preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
Provide speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and data tracking in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
