Applicant Requirements:
To be considered, candidates must meet California state and local requirements, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
-
Current California State SLP License issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered

School-based experience preferred

Ability to pass all background checks and fingerprinting requirements as per school district policy
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments of students speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment data
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual or group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
-
Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
-
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
-
Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district policies
