Job Description:
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will work collaboratively with IEP teams, teachers, and families to create supportive learning environments that promote communication skills and academic success. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, cultural competence, and the ability to tailor treatment plans to individual student needs across a diverse caseload.
Virginia State Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology license. An active or eligible Virginia Department of Education certification is also required. Candidates must pass all background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the district.
