What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Virginia Beach, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders. Youll collaborate with educators and families to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), support students in reaching their communication goals, and contribute to a positive learning environment across the district.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold an active Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license. A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered depending on district support. School-based experience is beneficial but not required.
