Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) PreK8 | New Orleans, LA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and motivated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based position in New Orleans, Louisiana. This contract role is for the 20252026 school year and serves students from Pre-K through 8th grade. The district is supportive and collaborative, and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
To be considered, candidates must meet all local and state licensing requirements for practicing as an SLP in a school setting. Prior experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.

Typical Job Duties:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy services to students

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions

Offer consultation and support in classroom settings as needed
