Blazer Jobs is now interviewing experienced and bilingual Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity in Houston, Texas. This position is for the 20252026 school year, running from August 1, 2025, through June 4, 2026.
Applicants must be fluent in Spanish and meet all local and state licensure requirements for practicing as an SLP in Texas schools. School-based experience is preferred, and experience working with special education students and their families is highly valued.

Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments in both English and Spanish

Develop and implement therapy plans and IEP goals for students with communication disorders

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to bilingual students

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations

Offer support and consultation to classroom staff as needed
