Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Houston, Texas. This school-based role is for the 20252026 academic year, running from August 1, 2025 through June 4, 2026.
We welcome applications from both CCC-certified SLPs and those currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment committed to student success.
All candidates must meet current state and local licensure requirements for practicing in Texas schools. School-based experience and familiarity working with special education students and families is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and social success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide intervention planning
-
Support classroom strategies for improving communication skills
