Key Duties:

Assist in implementing OT treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT

Document student progress and therapy sessions

Support classroom modifications and adaptive equipment use

Foster student independence in academic and daily routines
Requirements (Louisiana COTA Licensing):

Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Current Louisiana COTA license through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners

NBCOT certification

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school or pediatric setting
