What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Manatee County, youll assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Youll work directly with students across various grade levels, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to help every child reach their potential.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold or be eligible for a Florida Speech-Language Pathology license. A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered based on district support. Prior experience in a school setting is appreciated but not mandatory.
