Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening Albemarle, NC
Position Details:
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, in-person speech-language therapy to students
-
Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility and need
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions
-
Write present levels of performance, annual goals, and therapy objectives aligned with student needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication skills
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
-
Provide support and training to staff and families as appropriate
Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Active North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

School-based experience highly preferred
-
Familiarity with IEP development, special education law, and service delivery in school settings
-
Must meet all local and state requirements for school-based speech services
