Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility for services
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
-
Deliver services aligned with IEP goals and monitor progress
-
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
-
Communicate with parents, educators, and school staff regarding student needs and progress
-
Support students with a range of communication disorders, including those receiving special education services
Requirements:

Active California Speech Language Pathology license
-
ASHA certification or CFY status
-
School-based experience strongly preferred

Must meet all local and state certification and licensure requirements

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Experience with special education students and families highly preferred
