Description:
A supportive school district in Conroe, TX is seeking a Speech-Language PathologyAssistant (SLPA) for the 20252026 school year. This full-time, school-based role is ideal for a licensed and motivated SLPA looking to make a meaningful impact by supporting students communication and language development under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
The SLPA will assist in delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services and collaborate with educational staff to help students succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Assist in implementing treatment plans and IEP goals

Document student progress and maintain accurate service records

Support data collection for assessments and evaluations

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff

Follow ethical guidelines and scope of practice defined by state regulations
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field) with required clinical hours

Active Texas SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Compliance with Texas state guidelines for SLPA supervision

Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
